Types of Motor Oil We Offer
Conventional Oil
Conventional oil is made with crude petroleum extracted from the ground. This type of oil has been developed and advanced by the automotive industry since the beginning. Today's traditional oil has been advanced significantly and contains additives that improve its viscosity in extreme heat and thermal breakdown resistance. With conventional oil, vehicles need to schedule change service every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or 3 months; please refer to your owner's manual for specific numbers.
Synthetic Oil
Synthetic oil is made without crude petroleum but with chemical engineering synthesis. Most synthetic oil is not natural oil at all, but it has an improved molecular design that makes it an attractive lubricant for today's combustion engines. We only install genuine OEM full-synthetic motor oil that needs to be changed every 7,500 to 10,000 miles or 6 months; please refer to your owner's manual for specific numbers.
Diesel Oil Change Services
Toyota models like the 2020 Tundra with powerful Cummins diesel engines need this oil change service. We take great care, as always, when taking care of high-torque diesel engines with unique service needs, but rest assured that we always do what is necessary to restore factory specifications for hard-working diesel engines.
Toyota Engineers on Extended Oil Changes
Although Toyota engineers are educated and trained to know that extended oil changes are bad, it is essential to note that all major auto manufacturers recommend an oil change for all models with combustion engines as universally accepted truth. Extended oil changes open the door for problems, including excessive wear and tear on vital components and damages to the crankshaft, camshaft, valves, pistons, rings, and seals that allow the oil to leak, further compounding trouble.
